Krewe Cleans Up Tampa By

Krewe Participates in the Mayor's 18th Annual Mayor's River and Waterways Cleanup.

On November 19th 2005, The Krewe of the Nautilus participated in the Mayors River and Waterwats cleanup!
This year, joined with more than two million volunteers to participate in the 18th annual cleanup.
This event gave the Krewe, one of Tampa's community groups, the opportunity to show pride and encourages volunteerism by cleaning and beautifying parks, neighborhoods and shorelines.
As volunteers once again created record-breaking results for improving communities nationwide. Americans also discovered that cleaner communities are safer communities. Eighty-nine percent of community leaders who organized and reported on these events feel communities are safer as a result of activities like this.
