Saturday, March 20th – New Port Richey Chasco Fiesta Parade (Kid Friendly)
The Chasco Fiesta Parade is on March 20thth. Basic plans for the day:
- We are float number TBD.
- The staging area is the Gulf High School Parking lot, New Port Richey. More details to come.
- Parade starts at 1:00 pm sharp. Float will be at the line up by 11:00pm.
- Members must arrive at the staging area by 12:00pm.
· Beads:
o Repack all beads in luggage or bead bags. No card board boxes!
o Pre-stage in the second floor bin only and please stack them neatly. We are going to have a lot of beads. Do not block any walk ways and stairs.
o Bead drop off at THL Roofing anytime between 9:00am-6:00pm.
· Transportation /Parking
o We may park at the aquarium. Non aquarium members, please request a pass from secretary@nautiluskrewe.com. There are a limited number.
- Bus
- From the Florida Aquarium parking lot, the bus will leave by 10:30am.
- Bus is $20 per adult, children are free. Use the following link to pay; http://www.nautiluskrewe.com/buspay.html
- Bus will return to the same spot at roughly 5:00pm.
- Guests
- You may bring a guest child with you. We will be charging $50 per guest child, plus fee. Use the following link to pay; http://www.nautiluskrewe.com/buspay.html
- Please submit name for approval and have waivers signed by their parents. The waiver is attached. Don’t forget the minor liability form! See attached!
- The parade route is as follows:
- Parade will wind through downtown Port Richey and end on US 19. We will then get back on the float.
- At the end, we will head south on US 19 where the bus will follow until we can safely stop. We will exit the float for the bus and travel back to channel side.
As the float comes to a rest, please help pick up trash and clean up the float.
Reminder: Guests are not permitted to “ride” float. Only participants will receive bands and be allowed in the staging area.
Reminder: We have trolley car wires and low hanging lights in Ybor. Please be careful and remind others.
Reminder: “Don’t encourage spectators to do anything you wouldn’t ask your mother to do!”
